Review on πŸ‚ Ultimate Protection Hip Gear: 3D Padded Shorts for Ski, Skate, and Snowboard (S M L) by Brad Fleming

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Short style free hockey. Get a short bike fit for better protection.

Size M was too big for a 5'7" female weighing 130 pounds. This is a loose style of hockey shorts that slides around. I want the padding where it needs to be if I fall. As described, the thigh padding is a bit thicker, but the tailbone is not very protected. (see photo). This foam is also fully compressible, so you'll feel the impact. I also got a short version of the Ohmotor bike that uses denser foam and I didn't feel the impact (hit by a family member while crouching hard on the ground) in my very scientific testing. These are back. Also: who wants to pay attention to the padded shorts with contrasting piping? Left: Ohmotor, Right: These, both are M. You can see how much thicker the coccyx pads are on the left shorts and how they have more spacing between the pad sections.
