lathers great, the bokeh is quite nice, not the same as on my fix, but for zoom it's very cool. It focuses quickly, but not always where it is needed, so from time to time I had to move a little to catch a twig / bump in the foreground. A very tight zoom ring is both good and bad at the same time. Well, because it will not spontaneously leave (as on Canon) and is securely fixed at the required focal length. Bad for video, because you can forget about smooth zoom in the process of shooting. Sharpness is enough even from 2.8, there was no need to cover the aperture. Again, the fixes are much sharper, but for the zoom everything is a solid five here. I don’t know how it will manifest itself in poor lighting, but under normal conditions it works great! So I am happy with the choice and can advise it for purchase to those who are looking for a versatile fast zoom on a limited budget.
