I usually keep coming back to these halters precisely because they offer extra padding and I wear them as a reversible halter all the time. They're also usually cheaper than those at your local hardware store. My complaint is that each of these halters need a redesign of the snap hook. Almost always, within a few months, part of the hook will wear out and break out of the metal part attached to the nylon. It doesn't (usually) break, it just breaks out eventually because the end has to be thicker/wider through the metal to prevent it. After that we just swap out all the devices and they keep working.
