Durable Tough 1 Nylon Padded Halter with Satin Hardware - Premium Quality for Maximum Comfort Review

Only worn for a month. The equipment is cheap and flimsy and already rusting. Not worth the money. Since the padding on the halter extends to the end of the belt, it's also difficult to get it into the buckle, which isn't great when you're dealing with a fleeing horse. It took me a little time to even get into the sleek ol' pony behind it all!

I ordered a 1 year old halter and received an ear. They incorrectly labeled the halter as one year old, but the label attached said corn on the cob. Probably fits the butt or horse size of most halters. Decided to wait for the money as I have horses that fit in a lump but was disappointed. Will order year size again as soon as honest mistakes happen.

Sturdy construction. Most halters that are easy to find on store shelves are thin and flimsy. This one is built with durable quality. The color is perfect. But I ordered. pony size. Our little pony doesn't do well with fences and always has to carry a leash in case it gets lost. So he can wear out the halter pretty quickly. Unfortunately, this pony size is too big for him. It fits my big pony/small horse.

My daughter has a 22 year old pony, she is about 10 HH, small head but larger body. This halter is very pretty and has padding around the ear and nose. I like that it's adjustable (they should have had the smallest holes for both the earpiece and the nose). Perfect fit for our pony. However, it would be too big for any smaller pony than any larger pony. Shetland or a small mini would not fit at all as they lose to my pony which is a larger pony.

I usually keep coming back to these halters precisely because they offer extra padding and I wear them as a reversible halter all the time. They're also usually cheaper than those at your local hardware store. My complaint is that each of these halters need a redesign of the snap hook. Almost always, within a few months, part of the hook will wear out and break out of the metal part attached to the nylon.
