Review on DEWALT DW099S Bluetooth Enabled Distance Measurer by Zach Spangler

Big size. Decent brightness on the laser, I haven't tested it on the street yet. I thought it arrived DOA but I think it was the batteries it came with. Expensive batteries were required to measure correctly, otherwise I would have gotten an "INFO 401" error. Now that it works for me, it's 1/16" to 1/8" larger than 12" to 72". I cannot calibrate manually. It seems very sturdy and lightweight. **UPDATE** I've owned it for a few months now. The original was DOA. The laser works great outdoors (San Diego) but is usually 3/32" larger or equal to size. I can't trust it for small precision projects.
