It's a good seat, but we knew right away as soon as we installed it that it was going to be a product we'd say we'd do until we'll find something better. I was in a bind and the first class shipping helped get this here quickly. Upon installation we found that one of the plastic fasteners was not as tight as the other and as a result the seat became more wobbly than I would have liked. Hard plastic is easy to clean. If you're one of those people who need a quiet/soft closing lid, this isn't for you. In the middle of the night, a slamming lid might have alerted someone nearby.
