Review on 🥚 OXO Good Grips Digital Egg Timer with Piercer: Precise Timing and Easy Piercing for Perfectly Cooked Eggs, in a Sleek White Design - One Size by Patrice Dorsey

I liked the design and look of this device. Application: Pierced eggs with a piercing tip - no problem. Adjusted to the size of the egg - no problem. Adjusted to the degree of fried eggs - no problem. Tried to set the timer - PROBLEM. It does not work. Two blue lights came on at the wrong end and didn't change when I pushed the button. I checked the batteries and even replaced them with new ones. No fun. I used our standard kitchen timer to finish cooking the eggs and found that the piercing tip was probably too small (you could barely see the hole with the naked eye). This didn't help the egg expand and fill the shell (it should get rid of the flat part of the cooked egg). I liked the design of this stamp/timer but it didn't work for me. YMMV.
