Cheap Chinese bearings

When this rear bearing failed the alternator seized and the belt started to smoke. This alternator has cheap Chinese bearings. So what is the value of this alternator if it leaves you on the side of the road and I now have to replace it again, plus a new serpentine belt. I will replace it with Motorcraft. I've learned my lesson.
