I have 3 tanks: 1 29 gallon aquarium + inverted main aquarium display; 1 5.5 gallon shrimp rearing tank and a 10 gallon "tank" for juvenile or injured/sick fish. You need to periodically (1-2-3 times a week) check the parameters of all tanks. If you buy the Master Test Kit, you will receive 4 tubes. This allows you to check 4 tests on 1 tank. Then you should rinse and dry them all before moving on to the second or third tank! Since I like to take water samples from all three tanks, label them and then stand in front of the TV and check each water sample, I bought two of these kits. Most tests take more than 5 minutes to display results, so I should allow at least an hour of my time. With multiple test tubes for each tank, I can test them all without pacing and then erase everything in one go.
