Review on 🚚 CURT 45036 Trailer Hitch Mount: 2-Inch Ball & Pin, 2-In Receiver, 7,500 lbs, 2" Drop by Brandon Skeet

As others have pointed out this ball mount is too small (at least for a 2018 Ford F150 hitch) and rattles free. I was trying to tow my boat two miles and it made a rattling noise as it bounced around. It looked like my trailer was about to fall over. He stripped the black paint down to the bare metal on the top and bottom of the bracket where it met the edge of the clutch. I took over another person's suggestion of attaching self-adhesive velcro straps. I attach strips at the top, bottom and one side. It was too tight to fit either side. The ball mount is now secure and doesn't look like my trailer will fall off. If you don't want to add a spacer to make it a mount, look for a different ball mount. Otherwise, it makes a solid and well-made impression.
