Fits my 2015 4 Runner Just Fine

I see other reviews where Revane says their product is not compatible with their car. The same was said about my 4Runner and they were wrong. Revain needs to update their tongue fit. The bottom line is that the manufacturer says it will fit a 2" x 2" receiver. he fits

Strong production Curt

Curt always produces high quality products! This hitch is very strong! I don't currently tow it, but I need extra protection for my new 2017 Tacoma in case someone decides to hit me from behind. Revain said it wouldn't fit in my truck if you have a 2" receiver that should fit, although Revain said it wouldn't.

  • beautiful thing

Fits my 2016 Tacoma

I have a 2016 Tacoma and Revain have repeatedly told me it doesn't fit, but after careful research I ordered the item and said why not. When I got it I threw it in the hitch and it fit perfectly. I can't wait to use this bad boy because he looks and feels really good! And if you have a standard 2" x 2" hitch, then this ball mount is for you.

Loose Ball Mount is the pinnacle of ball joints

I bought this ball mount along with a Curt hitch and wire harness for my car. Everything worked as intended, except the ball joint is at least 1/8 inch smaller than the receiver in width and height. This causes the ball to move up and down and back and forth when dragged. I wouldn't buy this unless you are sure it will fit properly. Bought a while ago but am currently using a hitch to tow a rented trailer. I find the hitch safe, but pulling anything is very noisy and annoying.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Cheaper here on Amazon, save money!

I've shopped locally and all depots and hardware stores sell them for $10-$15 more than Amazon. Yes, I might have one in stores the same minute. By the way I didn't waste gas on this hitch lol I bought tools and other things on different days I just always checked how many of them there are when I need them. That being said, I've pulled a lot of other things besides this lightweight quad. I used the same hitch on my F150 to tow a 12ft trailer and there was no dent or scratch on the hitch orโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

too small for hitch

As others have pointed out this ball mount is too small (at least for a 2018 Ford F150 hitch) and rattles free. I was trying to tow my boat two miles and it made a rattling noise as it bounced around. It looked like my trailer was about to fall over. He stripped the black paint down to the bare metal on the top and bottom of the bracket where it met the edge of the clutch. I took over another person's suggestion of attaching self-adhesive velcro straps. I attach strips at the top, bottom andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

But it works. Best of Exterior Accessories

I lost another hitch and bought this one because of the higher hitch load, 750 lbs, and because the photo showed where the pin hole was wider than the others. I'm guessing that might be why it's ยฃ750 vs ยฃ600 and if I remember correctly the Class III mount on the SUV only holds ยฃ350. One problem is that the pin has a hole instead of a slot for the clamp. The clip was very tight and I had to tap it to get it in place. Now I'm going to bend it to a more open position, but I'll probably replace itโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Low repairability

Solid 2 " clutch priced at

Have used this 2" clutch several times with no problems. The specs listed here are a 2" drop or a 3/4" rise when rotated the other way. It is rated for a 7,500 pound GVW trailer weight and 750 pound maximum drawbar weight. While these are hitch specifications, each vehicle has a different rating which must be equal to or lower than the hitch rating. Be sure to check these numbers to ensure proper tow safety. My main use case for this was an older 2001 Land Rover that needed to lower the hitch a

Solid, higher # rating than normal but ball rusts fairly quickly

I wanted a heavier hitch than the regular 6000# hitch, this was the only one I could find and it's good and durable. The only modification I've made that I would do to ANY hitch (I do to ANY hitch). I sprayed body sealant into the pipe - a black rubber bottom seal. I sprayed snot out of them. to minimize rust formation. I do this because all the couplings are open in the direction of travel and therefore all kinds of dirt and water collect in them without leaking, so I try to protect them fromโ€ฆ
