I bought this scooter about 13 months ago. It is a nice scooter and does everything as advertised. it is smooth, stable, fast and comfortable. Around 11 months after my purchase the battery failed. Apparently there is only a six month warranty on the battery. I was very disappointed after spending so much on this scooter and it was rarely used for more than a 2 mile ride around the neighborhood on an infrequent basis. I took care of the battery too by not leaving it on the charger, out in the winter cold, or discharging it completely. I reached out to customer service who helped with troubleshooting the battery as the root problem. They wanted me to pay $80 for a replacement, but I didn't think that was fair. To my surprise after some back and forth they sent me a replacement for free. I was able to install it with little difficulty except for thin and weak screw mounts that hold the battery that break and strip easily. I'm writing this review to give the company kudos for good service in the end even though I was and still am disappointed the battery failed so quickly in the first place. Maybe I just had a bad one and this next one will be better. Overall, this is a good scooter as long as the battery lasts. Customer service was better than I expected and this seems like a reputable brand.
