If slot fits, use it

I bought this mailbox to replace an old faded one. Unfortunately, this custom-sized replacement is slightly narrower than the old standard-sized replacement (12") and I had to improvise when one of the screws failed to attach to the wood (because the pre-punched hole in the door was too big). .) Otherwise is the quality normal.
