It works FAST! on filter accessory

I set up a new aquarium to stock different colored shrimp and only a few fish (that don't eat shrimp!). It was a very densely planted tank with the new substrate, and no matter how careful I was, there were clearly some substances in the water that were preventing the aquarium from being clean. I thought I'd give it a try and to my delight it actually worked and it worked overnight. I was very surprised. So now I keep one of these pads in my filter media so it can continue to filter very, very fine particles in suspension. Good product. I highly recommend it.
