Unless I received the wrong instrument for the wrong task I bought it to measure 95% and 100% alcohol I received , to extract essential oils and propolis ; To my surprise, after reading the directions, I added 3/4 alcohol liquid and dropped the counter. I'm glad it didn't break, but it sank just as quickly as I let go of it. I figured it must be correct and maybe I bought some questionable alcohol so I replaced the alcohol liquid with the alcohol I got at my place of work. Guess what happened, the damn thing fell like a stone again, so it's not like that. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that two sources of alcohol can't be wrong while this thing is accurate. As I mentioned before I don't want to berate the company for their product because the device is flawless, well designed and easy to use and if I have no idea and I have the wrong tool for the wrong task then this device will break it could be
