Review on 🍊 Commercial Citrus Juicer, Enameled Black by New Star Foodservice 46878 by Heather Wilson

Okay, but with a few caveats.

I just bought a citrus press and have made fresh lemonade with it several times. While my first impressions are mostly positive, I would like to point out a few clarifications that may help the next buyer decide between this machine and another. The pictures give the impression that you can stick a fairly standard jar under the water trap and that is misleading. You will need a very short glass (e.g. a Rocks bartender glass). Alternatively, I just saw one of the user pics in another review where they used a larger measuring cup, but the neck of the measuring cup was wide enough to completely cover the top juice reservoir, so maybe that would work and I'll give that a try.2. The 4th item in the description is currently "Heavy base with suction cups for more stability". While the base is a good weight, the legs aren't "suction cups", they're just stops for burglars to avoid leaving a mark on the counter - unfortunately the lack of suction cups allows the press's front legs to be lifted into the press can be air on return. Lever in vertical position. Basically you have to hold the front fork legs of the machine every time you raise the handle again (which slows production for any amount of use at a lemonade stand etc.). It does a great job of extracting almost every bite of juice from a lemon, orange, or lime which is why I gave it 3 stars, but the extreme height of the trap area and the lack of suction cups to hold the device in place are somewhat impractical. design flaw.
