Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Cabinet Hardware Jig Tool: Drill Guide for Cabinet Handles and Knobs โ€“ Template Tool with Storage, Perfect Power Tool Accessory for Easy Installation of Handles and Pulls by Chef Deane

A must have for jig accessories

I have just bought all new cabinet doors for our kitchen and my wife has selected a couple of cabinet handles which are long rods (2" and 8" with 2 or 3 holes on each handle) . It is extremely important that the rods are perfectly aligned, otherwise they will look crooked to each other or to the edges of the cabinet. So I bought this drill clamp. It's very versatile. Allows you to adjust the distance from the edge of the front panel of the drawer or cabin door. Has 4 pilot holes. All pilot holes have 5mm metal bushings as described. I used a 3/16" bit and it worked fine, albeit with a little wobble. 1 guide hole is in the ruler of the T-bar (plastic) and 3 guide holes in the adjustable guide blocks that slide on the metal ruler. As for the blocks, I didn't really like the pilot hole in the plastic tee. The ruler of the tee is thinner than the adjustable guide blocks and it doesn't rest snugly against the body like the others so any pressure on it would cause the ruler to flex. Not that important as this hole isn't really needed for most that guide has works great on me on the tee in the same plane as the other pilots, allowing for clamping or use on rare occasions.
