This ramp could appeal to many. We got it for our 60+# husky who is now blind. I was a little concerned that it might not be long enough and too tight. After reading many reviews I felt comfortable enough to try it. I like that it's lightweight and easy to fold/handle. And it fits in the doorways of our SUVs and pickups quite snugly. After a few tries with our dog, he figured out what was going on and is now moving up and down the ramp with ease and without thinking. We'll have to guide it a little, but it's easy. Using it from the inside to get on and off sofas is very easy and this is where the shorter length is a big advantage. The materials used are durable and the construction is quite satisfactory. I love that the carpet is attached to the ramp with velcro so it can be easily removed for cleaning/replacement. The non-slip rubber at each end of the ramp is pretty inadequate, so we glued non-slip material to both ends --- and it works a lot better. While our Husky has no issues with the ramp angle, some dogs — particularly large breeds — can seem a little steep. Or, if loaded from the back of the car, it will be very cool. A longer model would be a better choice.
