The horn button, as others have pointed out, is a little lame. It seems like you have to press it pretty hard to make it permanent, otherwise it just stutters (which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5). However, it was a REALLY simple setup. I used the supplied U-clip on the ground side and attached the round connector to the positive terminal that came with the horn I bought. Place it under the nut that secures the battery connector to the stand. I soldered the outgoing wires to the petals on the klaxon and voila you're done. I found a place to mount them in the engine bay next to the battery and I didn't even have to run an extra wire other than the one that came with the kit. Installing the horn button was very easy on my 2002 VW New Beetle. The dashboard is quite close to the driver, so the free space between the air vents was ideal. But even with stuttering, it's better than no horn at all. And who knows, maybe the stuttering will draw more attention from inattentive motorists on the road, which was the only reason I needed to get that to hopefully stay alive. Oh, and since I have a shifter, the button is only a few feet from my hand, so it's actually easier than the factory steering wheel horn (which broke sometime before I bought this car).
