Review on Nexus Escape 150 Watt Inverter PAD1500 by Relap Villa

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A full 2000W with a 7.5 battery.

I like it so far. I am disappointed by the low starting power of 3000 watts. I tested it with a 7.5 Ah battery. In a 5 ton port-loading log splitter, the engine will push and it will stumble. I've tried this on a Port Freight inverter welder and it works on low settings but works if you have a bad arc. When it comes to Wi-Fi, the Ego has almost no claims. I've tried setting it up and it just fails. I contacted Ego and he said try the following: Normally all new routers are dual band routers, if the user sees 2 same SSIDs, one clearly labeled as 5GHz or 2.4GHz, connect to 2.4GHz ; or try to connect to the WiFi with your phone as a hotspot to check if the connection problem is due to the WiFi environment. I tried using the hotspot but it didn't connect. I have a Deco Mesh system. So I disabled guest wifi and 2G network. After 3 more attempts it was finally connected to the wifi. Bluetooth has nothing to do with it. Hopefully this helps anyone with wifi issues and if they can use this for more than just refrigerant.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • I don't really have any complaints about it, everything is fine
