Replacement part works as advertised

My original rating was poor due to a faulty unit. I sent it back to Revain, received my replacement and everything is fine and working as it should. There are several glitches. When connecting to the Internet, do not follow the instructions on the website. You now come with nothing in the app. Connect according to the instructions in the application after registering the product. If the app says Connected, don't click Done or you'll just be disconnected. Tap the back arrow and stay connected.

Super helpful! at Tools & Equipment

I bought this to use at home with ego batteries. We were without electricity for 5 days and the thing worked great. We were able to run the light on one battery for about 8 hours. I have quite a lot of batteries so I could take them apart and then take them somewhere with enough power to charge. I used it to charge my phone and some other devices and it worked fine. I would like to warn you that this is not meant to spend many watts. You need to make sure your connection is actually within…

Better Every Day Good for Tools and Equipment

A knee joint was recently replaced and I now have 110 Power Plus outlets available. I bought the Ego Snowblower with 7.5Ah batteries so I now have enough portable power to keep all my iOS devices charged. Today the electricity was turned off for a short time, life went on. Plan to use Monday for big box shopping to turn on my portable electric fridge when traveling to keep meat, poultry, frozen foods and sweets cool! Uses are endless, if you use ego products this $100 item is no problem…

Read before you buy (if planning to buy for CPAP machines)

I purchased this unit, quantity (2) 7.5 amp batteries and quick charger. I wanted to use this to power the cpap machine. Check the power of the CPAP machine (80 watts) and this device (150 watts). fully charged batteries. and tested it on a cpap machine and reloaded that block in 2 seconds. Then I tried it on a couple of fans and it made a loud buzzing sound. Connecting lamps caused the same problem and dim light. did some research and found that these devices don't provide true AC power, but…

A full 2000W with a 7.5 battery.

I like it so far. I am disappointed by the low starting power of 3000 watts. I tested it with a 7.5 Ah battery. In a 5 ton port-loading log splitter, the engine will push and it will stumble. I've tried this on a Port Freight inverter welder and it works on low settings but works if you have a bad arc. When it comes to Wi-Fi, the Ego has almost no claims. I've tried setting it up and it just fails. I contacted Ego and he said try the following: Normally all new routers are dual band routers, if

great gadget - tools & equipment

I live in the Bay Area and power outages are becoming more frequent. So I bought this and it has been incredibly helpful during this recent and ongoing outage. It's a pure sine wave, so it powers my 50" Sony TV and everything else 150w and under. I don't know why someone called it the famous laptop charger. I recommend it to anyone who has ego batteries. unreasonable, especially since Ryobi's lower 40-volt system inverter is the same price. With a little longer use of the device I should find…

Not worth the downside

Recharge from 65% to full takes over 4 hours with 3 x 7.5 and 1 x 5 batteries. The power consumption of 400W is about 3 hours of operation with 3x7.5 and 1x5 batteries. Definitely nothing sustainable in an emergency. First, the idea behind it contradicts the battery documentation. The documentation states that batteries that have not been used for a long time should be discharged. But to use it during and unplanned emergencies. Then you need to keep your batteries constantly charged. As the…

I haven't had a power outage to really test this unit but I did some static testing and it works fine on my desktop. This is bought primarily to have a power source in the dead of winter when the gas generator is running outside which is problematic at -10 F starting problems that a gas generator would have. Living in Vermont, it's not uncommon to experience a few days of power outages every winter. I'm glad to see there's a solar option now, but that option doesn't seem very practical in its…

EGO Nexus Power Plant Offers Amazing Peace of Mind

I recently purchased the EGO Nexus Power Plant after having researched portable battery powered inflators (gasoline/propane) and inverters. The Power Station was perfect for my particular situation. Storm-related power outages lasting up to 24 hours are a reality in Hawaii, more of an inconvenience than a threat to life, though we do get tsunamis and hurricanes from time to time. The power plant is safe to use in my home, no hazardous fumes. manufacture the gas generators. Unlike the…
