I only use this to add compressed air to fire extinguishers (the type that sprays water). He inflates them to the advertised 100psi with no problem. It comes with a soft pouch with a zippered side pocket so the power cord (different cords for 12V DC and 120V AC), some hose adapters and instructions can be kept with the unit without losing it. Some things to watch out for: When swinging, it's just as noisy as everyone else. The instructions are a bit stupid. One of the first steps of the guide features an LED light, which is a bit confusing until you realize it has nothing to do with blowing air. It activates the flashlight on the side. The rest of the instructions seem clear enough. The shut-off function, which stops the pump when the desired pressure is reached, works as it should. But it seems strange to me that the device does not have such an overheat cut-off. The operator must switch off the pump after 10 minutes of operation and allow it to cool down for 5 minutes. I think it would be easy to automate this. Fortunately, it takes no more than 10 minutes to pump up a fire extinguisher. The 12V power cord plugs into the car's cigarette lighter socket. So most who work with motorcycle tires have to invent something to power them directly from the battery. All in all a great device that does exactly what I need it to do. I already have compressors that work well with tires, but they fail before they reach 100psi, so this one fills an urgent need.
