Works well: Pastel paper
I used to use mixed media or watercolor paper to try out oil pastels because I had that on hand. I had trouble making things look good and had a hard time mixing and layering. I bought this paper and it's like night and day! My pastels are so easy to use and mix, I will definitely be buying more!
