Review on PRM 2005 Castrate Bander by Walter Martin

I never thought I would be reviewing castration ring pliers lol. I grew up on a farm. We used them to "tie" the boys, not to put them under the knife. Union with this device works very well by basically cutting off access to a certain type of manhood, and eventually that manhood just dries up and falls away. That being said, I did NOT buy this set of pliers for this. I bought them to ligate various urinary, reproductive, fecal, etc. tracts in deer processing. Yes, I said it - deer processing. *** DISCLAIMER *** Use at your own risk. I can't guarantee you won't slip off the tape and ruin the meat with urine or feces, but I've used these tongs over the last deer season to close the above tracts with great success. It's MUCH faster and less cumbersome than tying with a rope. It's worth the investment if you're dealing with a lot of deer. Replacement bands are also available at a price.
