Review on Portable Anchor Plate for Utility Winches - Black by Jason Guzman

Revainrating 3 out of 5

As per other reviews - the chain slot is poorly cut and needs to be altered.

The supplied chain will not fit into the slotted attachment points on the anchor plate. In order for the anchor plate to work, you must use a grinder or files to attach it. Unfortunately, this will remove the powder coating. And there is an uncovered spot on my plate where it looks like the plate was hung on a hook while the powder was being applied. i It is not comfortable to spray rustoleum on this plate and let it dry for 24 hours before you can mount the anchor plate on the winch. Aside from previous flaws, the record works well. The screws on the bottom can scratch the metal deck or damage the wooden deck when the plate is used on a car carrier or equipment trailer. Obviously not a problem if you use a tree mounted winch or put a piece of plywood under the winch assembly. The equipment supplied belongs to class 5; I felt more comfortable with it after purchasing a Class 8 replacement. I was tempted to convert the tracks to G70, but the flange on the plate is too small for that.

Cons
