I was trying to replace native tees with new Dormans on my 2004 GMC Yukon XL 5.3L. Whole original fittings leaked from time to time, it wasn't that critical, but I decided to fix the leak altogether. Visually, the Dorman connector looks just like the original, all dimensions and terminals look exactly the same. After installing the Dorman fitting and starting the engine, I found that coal was quickly dripping out of just the aluminum tube and tee. I bought 2 pieces just in case (1 for backup), the 2nd leaked too. After dismantling the plug, it turned out that all the O-rings are thinner than the original. So the bottom line is 1. Even a used genuine connector is way better than a new Dorman, 2. I will never buy Dorman fittings again!
