I just received this little device and I'm very impressed! I love eggs - I spend money on organic eggs at the health food store (much better for you and much tastier than eggs from the average grocery store) and I always have hard-boiled eggs on hand for a quick breakfast. will use this a lot! The product looks well made and is strong enough to cut all the foods mentioned - mushrooms, strawberries etc. Little did I know the metal part that actually cuts just pops out for easy cleaning. You don't have to spend a lot of time removing dried egg residue from the device. Probably suitable for the top of the dishwasher. I haven't tried the egg timer yet, but I'm sure it will come in handy for beginner cooks. PLUS - the color matches my kitchen! That's great!
