🥚 Mevis Line Egg Slicer Set for Boiling Eggs - Hard Boiled Eggs & Timer Bundle (Red) Review

I had 3 of these kitchen knives and they all fell apart. When this one arrived the wire was already dangling from the top and the same design just wanted his name on it. I said forget it! The photo looks like it was taken around the corner, but it's the same as the kitchen gadget.

I can't believe this product has received such good reviews. The first time I used it the grill came loose from the brackets and the wires themselves were very loose and didn't cut eggs. This has to be one of the worst featured products I've come across at Revain. It's not Revain's fault, but some research needs to be done on this company.

I really like this egg slicer. It's very similar to the kitchen gadget I had, but what makes this egg slicer better is that the actual cutting part can be removed to make it much cleaner in the dishwasher. It also comes with an egg timer which was a surprise and shows you how to get perfectly cooked eggs every time depending on whether you want a soft or hard-boiled egg. I would recommend this to everyone.

As I get older, my hands/fingers become more arthritic. I vowed to find as many kitchen tools and gadgets as possible to help me out. And this egg slicer is just the ticket! I love adding eggs to salads and the slicer makes it super easy. The egg is cut perfectly and on my salad in seconds! I highly recommend the egg slicer and would buy from this company again - very customer oriented and easy to work with.

When I received it it seemed well designed but the wire insert that actually slices eggs fell out almost immediately. You had to manually reinsert it and hold it in place every time it didn't stay in place. Aggravating. and one of those "You had ONE job" examples. I used it for a year, this year the strap fell apart so I threw it away. Some relief now I can get one that works. It doesn't sound like hard science to come up with an efficient and durable egg carving tool, but here it is.

I ordered this new egg slicer before Christmas as my family broke the previous one. Haven't had time to use it yet because of vacation, but I'm looking forward to using it, especially the timer. Looks good and the price is reasonable. I looked at several different ones but finally settled on this one because of the bonus egg timer as it's always fun to get "just the right" eggs. I'm very picky about getting eggs in a certain way for certain purposes. The consistency of the yolk, from runny to jelly-like or dry, is important for a variety of purposes. Hello, I bought 2 productions together. The first egg timer that I love. I make soft-boiled eggs every morning. One day I also wanted to make hard boiled eggs for a tuna salad.
