Review on πŸ“± CTA Metal Arm Mount with Cable Routing System for iPad 7th & 8th Gen 10.2", iPad Pro 11", iPad 5th & 6th Gen, and Other 7-12" Tablets (PAD-TAM): Innovative Tabletop Arm Mount for Effortless Device Display and Easy Cable Management by Jonathan Partridge

Beware of the quick reset button, otherwise everything is fine.

The hand strap is excellent. No problem moving my tablet when installed. There's a ball socket that rotates the display between landscape and portrait. I want the ball itself to be properly anchored; The ball never leaves the hand, rather tending to rotate 360 degrees rather than the ball remaining stationary while the device uses the pan to rotate. The main reason I'm giving this 3 stars is the extremely responsive release button, which allows the tablet to be quickly detached from the mount. Unfortunately, if you press this button incorrectly while rotating or recalibrating your tablet, it could fall onto the floor or table you're holding it on. This is because when you press the button, all tension is removed and the tablet is not held by anything. Not great if you just want to change orientation to watch a video, type, or read an article. I'm currently looking for a better solution to permanently disable this button. Disabling isn't hard if you have the right size screw and a metal washer, but I need a solution that can't be easily hardened. As for quickly ejecting the tablet, it's not at all difficult to just take it out the way you put it in. Press the bottom of the tablet against the clamping handle.
