Use a utility knife to clean the metal adjustment ring
Use a utility knife to remove paint from the inside of the metal adjustment ring, after which it will fit onto the crank. There is no need to take everything off and use all those gaskets. Pull out the old one with a drill and install it after cleaning the inner diameter of the metal ring. 15-minute installation after removing the flexible panel
