I tested it with wires to my 12 volt battery (using the online test circuit) and a short vacuum line to blow into one of the holes. I attached the small wire clips to the battery. Heard the valve move and was able to blow air from one port to the other. Be sure to disconnect the negative battery cable before installation. I found a video online on how to install VSV for EVAP but I had to remove more components to use an 8mm wrench to tighten the nut to the bolt. Yes it worked on my car and when idling after turning on the a/c it was idling when the a/c compressor was on for example from 750rpm to 775.
