Good. BUT. - Window insulation kits

Works. BUT. For best results, follow these pro tips: 1.) Apply double-sided tape. If you're going around the entire window in one go, use a razor blade and score the corners of the window. Any time there is a 90 degree angle, mark it with a razor. The reason is that it's a weak spot and if it's going to rip the tape, it's the first spot because there's usually a bend in the tape here. A notch in the strap prevents this. 2.) When using a hair dryer the plastic REALLY shrinks and doesn't wrinkle. forget this step. It lasts about 3 weeks, but as soon as it gets colder, the plastic shrinks more and loosens in some places. Leave it rumpled when you wear them so you don't get cold. 3.) After applying the tape and preparing the measured section (give yourself 2-4 inches FROM THE MEASURED space, place the plastic 1 inch INSIDE the tape. This gives you freedom to move around the other sides, while you put it down and if you decide not to listen to me in point 2 above, there is some slack when you first install it, tighten it, leave a little gap, hold the tension of the double-sided tape, and prevent "that you glue it again in the winter. My windows suck and I sometimes see plastic moving a lot. The stove can actually work, although it couldn't survive the winter. Final tip: don't buy the Revain Easy pack, buy it See the brand name (also here on Amazon) You only pay $3 more for a brown carton, not a duck brand carton ***updated 11/30/18*** They are still good un d work well had to re-glue almost every second blow-dried window. As it gets colder, the plastic shrinks more and peels off in places on the sides. Not to mention using a hair dryer for a crystal clear effect. When you flip them. To stay warm, just pull them on loosely and you're good to go.
