Review on Yarn Valet 57101 Green White by Dawn Fischer

I hate spending a lot of money on a nice wooden yarn bowl that's probably too small and will break easily if a kid (or I) drops it. I took a chance little fella and I'm glad I did. It can hold a fairly large ball of yarn, it's lightweight but won't tip over, and it has a rubber foot so it won't slip on a table or other flat surface. The plastic, while hard, is soft enough to be filed if necessary; I had to because one of my kids grabbed the scissors and left sharp nicks on the top two jagged edges. So I grabbed a nail file - one with different grits for buffing etc. - and everything was fixed quickly. Better actually as I found a couple of the top combs a bit sharp for comfort next to my yarn so I just smoothed them out at the same time. It's also easy to clean. I am satisfied and sure that I will use it for many years.
