They don't mold well. But when you have a six-year-old girl who has declared that she's the next Nerd Crafter or Mariah Elizabeth and she's got a bunch of different dough and clay on her hands, that's perfect. It's easy to manipulate, strong enough to wear, has a variety of shapes and points to experiment with, and unfortunately sharp enough to poke a hole in a new pair of leggings. Two holes, honestly. This is a good addition to any play dough for a younger child. By 12 or so they'll probably want thinner and more mature instruments, but for elementary school they're excellent.
