I used this on an 86 F260 with a 6.9 IDI diesel engine. I have a platform without a spare tire so access and installation was easy. I had to modify my exhaust to fit, mine was a 5 inch exhaust that fell on the rear axle. I just cut it off under the body and brought it in front of the tires. The kit includes everything needed for installation and expansion. Send block (without float extension) I used a welding rod, size I don't remember. Several videos/posts on YouTube and forums to help you figure out what to do.
