Review on 🔆 Dewaxed Super Blonde Shellac Flakes - 1lb (16oz) by David Naranjo

The goods arrived well crumbled in a bag. I didn't have to process the flakes at all before mixing them with alcohol (1lb per pint of DNA which I ordered from Quality Chemical at Revain). Dissolved quickly, but still waited all day. After filtering through cheesecloth I found there were still 3 or 4 tiny grains of dirt left. I'd say it was pretty clean shellac. French polish them (beginners). It's so clear that at first it was a bit difficult to judge how well I was applying it. When fresh, shellac has a mild, pleasant, spicy smell that quickly dissipates. The shellac bag is resealable, but I put it in a ziplock bag and store it in a cool basement. I took it to use almost pure ethanol denatured alcohol. I'm very happy without dain-bramage.
