I sealed them with mineral oil
After reading the reviews about the lids molding easily, I decided to seal the lids with food-grade mineral oil. It was really easy to do. The lids look great and work well for the wide mouth mason jars I have. I am hoping that by treating the lids like a cutting board and sealing them every so often, I will not experience the mold issue. I will update my review if the mineral oil does not help.
- Pretty, not super secure. But I just want a straw and something to cover my drink 🙂
- The lids are not dishwasher safe
