Pleased with the price until 5 months after my husband installed it one side started hissing and a week later the trunk wouldn't hold open at all. The goal is very heavy without a functioning lifting support! I contacted the seller about the 1 year warranty and found that it is in fact a 4 month warranty and after that you will need to send the defective product back to them (at your expense). They will fix it and send it back, or you can buy the product for a small discount. . The feeling of being ripped off. Next time I will study the warranty and returns information better.
