Review on Large Push Block For Woodworking - Woodstock W1401 by Bill Martinson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not a bad option, but slips sometimes

This push block works. It keeps your fingers away from the blades and (usually) sticks to the workpiece. I'd recommend using it for a router table because that's what I use it for, but I assume it would work with a jointer as well. The only problem I have periodically is that the rubber pad slips on the workpiece. I've tried dusting it off to make sure it isn't dirty, but I usually need to use a standard push stick, or my hand on the edge of the piece and just use this push block to keep the piece down on top of the router bit. Still good to have, but maybe not rely on.

Pros
  • Tools & Home Improvement
Cons
  • The non-slip pad on the bottom does not have enough grip and can slip during use
