I needed to remove a cracked pinion shaft and stop screw inside the differential case, and the only way to do it was to dig through the thick hardened steel of the complete pinion shaft after the broken stop screw used lots of titanium, cobalt, and carbide bits . I have used them in combination with diamond coated crowns. Great progress was made with these rotating cutting discs and allowed me to excavate a significant groove that allowed for the definitive use of hole saw bits. It took about 1.5 hours but I took everything apart and only used a couple of wheels that showed little wear. Great solution for the price, I should have started with that.
