It works well according to advertised specs, but don't expect it to work wonders if your cover isn't flat. I inherited a Husqvarna mower and it smoked quite badly. Oil turned out to be pouring from the valve cover straight onto the hot exhaust pipe (no flame thankfully). The previous owner tried to twist the last gasket hard to stop the leak, destroying it and also warping the cap a bit. The new gasket wasn't thick enough to accommodate the slight warping of the old cover (it wasn't very bowed, just a little wavy because the old bolts pushed in farther than the rest of the flange when over-tightened, but after a bit of creative hammering, to flatten the cover normally, the seal will hold tight.thumbs up for this product.
