Review on 🍊 Enhance Your Wood's Beauty with Howard Products ORS016 Orange Oil Wood Polish, 16 oz by Tim Arnold

I think maybe this product is an imitation.

I think this product may be counterfeit, maybe not even from Howard Products. I bought it a few months ago and something on the label didn't seem right to me. I just used it and noticed that I didn't have the usual orange oil smell, but more of a slightly chemical oil smell. And yes, when I looked at the label again, there is indeed oil in it. Howard Real Orange Oil is pure orange oil. Okay, I've done a little research since I wrote this. I went to Ace Hardware where I always got Howard Orange Oil but now they had the same product as Revain. I called Howard and asked if they had changed the formula. Yes, they have changed. They were sued by the state of California because orange oil contains too many volatile organic compounds. Apparently it is now illegal in most states to add orange oil to cleaning products and such. You have discontinued the original product. The maximum permissible content of orange oil is 3%. We are still allowed to use orange oil for aromatherapy if we want. I bought a genuine Ace product 6 months ago. It must have been the last of their supplies. Had I known, I would have bought everything they had on the shelf! When Howard's very helpful man tipped me off about aromatherapy oil, I checked to see if it was available in bulk. . You can order a gallon of oil from Revain for $32.99 and shipping is free. If I do the math correctly, that's a little over $4 for 16 ounces. I just paid $10 for oil. From now on I order pure orange oil for my cleaning polish!
