one of the reasons i bought this gps is because it said it has lifetime map updates. I can't download any updates for this device anywhere and can't find any direct answers on how to update them. I didn't have a chance to use this GPS until the long journey I'm on right now. The directions are so wrong that I can't rely on them to get anywhere. Eventually I got so upset about it that I was willing to climb off the mountain and fly out the window. It was a big waste of money!
