I have Car Play in my car but I bought it for periods of poor data reception and for a simple dedicated navigation screen. Pros: - Touchscreen sensitivity - GPS size. GPS takes a long time to lock and it only happens when the device is oriented vertically. Easy to program, highly accurate voice navigation to showing parking spots at my local grocery store. . . A few questions: NONE of these should stop you from buying! 1) The "GpsInf" icon provides information only if it is used BEFORE any action is taken. . . one of the reasons i bought this gps is because it said it has lifetime map updates. I can't download any updates for this device anywhere and can't find any direct answers on how to update them. I didn't have a chance to use this GPS until the long journey I'm on right now. The directions are so wrong that I can't rely on them to get anywhere.
