The instructions I could find didn't show the correct direction of coin batteries. 11/11/2020: Not recommended. A tiny button that's too hard to hold when searching in tight spaces. Beyond a few meters, the detection volume is too small for reliable detection. The auto shut off is a pain. You're depressed and it shuts down. You need to get out, reset the transmitter, and then get back to the guts. For desktop testing only. I will have to buy something else. I will give it to my son as an educational toy.
