So this review was written a few months after I bought and tried Feliway for the first time. My two cats (male and female) get along but sometimes fight. I wasn't sure if it was a play fight or a hard fight. It bothered me in the middle of the night and early in the morning. The only cat used to hang out on the street because the cat kicked her out. I thought my cat might have skin dimples, also known as Feline Hyperesthesia Syndrome. She made strange noises and ran away. She doesn't usually come close to me that often and I don't get to pet her that often. I bought Feliway and I don't know if it was pure coincidence, but after a day the arguments stopped! I've had a Feliway all month, they fought maybe once or twice towards the end of the month when the Feliway was almost over. I managed to pay a little more attention to the cat. She stayed home more and let me pet her and seemed less anxious overall. I had problems with the cat watching over me and controlling the bed, the cat was also able to go to the bed more often. Then I decided to wait a month or two and see what happens. I haven't had a Feliway for almost 2 months, they fought, but it was a little less than before, but they still fought. Well it's a few days after my second Feliway attempt and they seem a little more relaxed and not fighting. beautiful! It's pretty amazing. Our problems weren't that serious, I don't think cats with really serious disorders or behaviors can't be helped by this product. If the issues are severe, behavioral issues, etc., this may not help. I've read that having more than one cat isn't actually great, and you have a lot of problems with more than one. If your cats HATE each other and fight hard etc. then I don't think this will work. ALSO I made sure to separate their food bowls into 2 different cutlery rugs (still in the same place) so they have their own place. I also bought two cat beds and placed them in spots they like to walk so they have their own comfortable spots too. Overall I am pleased and surprised at how this product has helped me and my cat family. the problems you have. I would definitely talk to your vet and have your cats checked out and also try an animal behaviorist (not just an animal trainer - there is a difference). now on a special diet. She doesn't urinate anywhere else. I also had urinary problems with my cat at one point and it was due to the dog lying in his bed and spreading dog odor around him (the cat and my dog have behavior/jealousy issues and the cat attacks my dog. ) All my animal issues are unresolved (my cat still likes to scratch my sofa which I try to cover with foil from time to time etc.) and I would like my cat to be less dominant but so far I am happier with the result than before trying Feliway. Hope this helps and good luck!
