Put this in my 96 F250. The only thing that scared me a bit was that after I put this filter in place, the screws holding the old filter in place barely reached the threads. Yes, I checked that nothing was unnecessarily squeezed. If you have a 460 I would recommend fitting a "high flow" exhaust and then removing the air pump that circulates the unburned gases from the exhaust back to the engine. I don't know exactly where it was, but it's to the left of the engine when you open the hood. At the beginning of this quest for more power, without messing around with the engine's internals, in a freshly paved parking lot (don't remember the specs) it wouldn't burn fairly skinny tires to pop tires that are at least 2 more inches to go. Profile (width) than the ones I mentioned before (which mysteriously burned out after I removed the cat, removed the air pump and replaced the muffler. ha.). Now I'm thinking about putting 45 on the side just in front of the right rear wheel.
