Great power upgrade

No kidding when I removed the air filter from my 95 F350 it was very crappy and covered in dirt. I then installed this filter and took it for a test drive and was literally amazed at how much more airflow the power put me in the back seat, no kidding, in a V8 460. I will never go back to a disposable filter and I will clean my oils Only use the ones that need them and leave the dry ones dry if they don't need oil. Some filters don't do this. I will definitely buy more.

I have been using reusable filters in most of my cars for many years and have never had a problem with them. I usually use the more expensive brand, but when I was looking for one for the '88 F150 I'm building for my wife I came across this one. For half the price I normally get, I went for this one. It doesn't really look any different. The only issue I had was having to push the pleats in one spot because the edge wasn't as far out as the rest. Otherwise everything was fine. Advice for those…

More Power Please - Filter

Put this in my 96 F250. The only thing that scared me a bit was that after I put this filter in place, the screws holding the old filter in place barely reached the threads. Yes, I checked that nothing was unnecessarily squeezed. If you have a 460 I would recommend fitting a "high flow" exhaust and then removing the air pump that circulates the unburned gases from the exhaust back to the engine.
