I have been using reusable filters in most of my cars for many years and have never had a problem with them. I usually use the more expensive brand, but when I was looking for one for the '88 F150 I'm building for my wife I came across this one. For half the price I normally get, I went for this one. It doesn't really look any different. The only issue I had was having to push the pleats in one spot because the edge wasn't as far out as the rest. Otherwise everything was fine. Advice for those of you who have never used a reusable filter before. Take the removed paper element and place it in the box where the new one will appear and save it. Reusable ones need regular cleaning and lubrication. While I'm doing that, I'll reinstall the old one so I can keep using the car.
