This was a great thermometer:* The shaded red area on the dial makes it easy to get the perfect temperature every time. Others have mentioned that the numbers are difficult to read; I disagree, I think they are easy to read, but the more important point is that you do NOT need numbers on the dial because you just have to wait for the arrow to touch red. * The clip keeps the thermometer in place very well, and if you find the thermometer is too long for the cup, you can slide it up the clip. * This is a beautiful thermometer and holder. I really like the color red.* That's a great price. I've been using this thermometer for a few months now and it hasn't given me a single problem.
